Ector ISD has 100% Highly Qualified Teachers and Teacher's Aides for the 2017-2018 School year
Ector Independent School District is dedicated to providing the highest quality learning experience in a safe, caring, and nurturing environment to all students. Our students will develop positive moral values, achieve full academic potential, and acquire skills necessary for continuous learning. These traits will provide the tools necessary for graduates of Ector to become contributing members of society, be life-long learners, and be successful in future endeavors.
We would like to welcome you to Ector Independent School District's Web Page. Our school consists of approximately 243 students on a K-12 campus.

PARENTS OF ALL 7th GRADERS
Parents please be watching for letters concerning your student(s) immunizations. Every student entering the 7th grade is required to provide proof of receiving Tdap and Meningococcal vaccines. If you have not taken care of this matter, you must do so no later than October 27, 2017. You may have your physician’s office fax a copy of the updated shot record to the school at 903-961-2110. For any questions please contact Kim Bockman at 903-961-2355.
Paying for Your Student(s) Meals Online
We are proud to announce that we now have the option for parents to pay for their student(s) meals online via credit/debit card. Ms. Shelly will be sending home a sheet with steps on how to get set up. Please note the sheet will also have indivdual passcodes so you can “deposit” money into your accounts.
CASH FOR MY CLASS
Ector ISD is participating in the Cash for my Class at Brookshires. Be looking for a letter coming home with your student(s). We have the cards available at the school for you to pick up if you are interested.
School Messenger is a notification system we use to notify parents of early school closure or bad weather, etc. Notifications can be sent via phone(recorded voice message), cell (recorded voice message or SMS text) or Email. In order to be notified you need to make sure the school has your up to date home phone number, cell phone number and/or email address. Contact Marcia Bush in the Superintendent’s office 903-961-5405. To receive SMS(text) you must make sure we have your current cell phone number in our system, and click here to follow these directions to set it up.
Box Tops for Education
Please save and send your Box Tops to our school. We are going to continue utilizing this program for our school. Please continue to save throughout the school year and send them with your child at anytime. We really appreciate any and all Box Tops we get.
Contact Marcia Bush if you want the information to sign up for Parent Portal. We do not send it home with every student, only by request.
Reporting Procedures for Bullying
To obtain assistance and intervention, any student who believes that he or she has experienced bullying or believes that another student has experienced bullying should immediately report the alleged acts to a teacher, counselor, principal, or other District employee.
