Board of Trustee Election in May has been Delayed

Our Board of Trustees voted to delay the May 2, 2020 election to November after the Governor did a Proclamation that the May election could be delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The new election day is going to be on November 3, 2020. The ballot that has already been done will be the same, the date has just been moved. Click here to see the Proclamation.

 

 

Student Cell Phone Policy Effective January 1, 2020

 

 

Substitute Teachers
We are in need of substitute teachers. If you or you know anyone that might be interested please pass it along. There is a application on our Job Listings link. Choose the Substitute application to print it out and bring it to the school. You may also pick one up at the school.

 

 

CASH FOR MY CLASS
Ector ISD is participating in the Cash for my Class at Brookshires. Be looking for a letter coming home with your student(s). We have the cards available at the school for you to pick up if you are interested. 

 

 

School Messenger
School Messenger is a notification system we use to notify parents of early school closure or bad weather, etc. Notifications can be sent via phone(recorded voice message), cell (recorded voice message or SMS text) or Email. In order to be notified you need to make sure the school has your up to date home phone number, cell phone number and/or email address. Contact Marcia Bush in the Superintendent’s office 903-961-5405. To receive SMS(text) you must make sure we have your current cell phone number in our system, and

Box Tops for Education
Please save and send your Box Tops to our school. We are going to continue utilizing this program for our school. Please continue to save throughout the school year and send them with your child at anytime. We really appreciate any and all Box Tops we get. 
 

 

Parent Portal
 Contact Marcia Bush if you want the information to sign up for Parent Portal. We do not send it home with every student, only by request.
